Who Are We?

Wye Valley Music has been bringing live classical chamber music to the lower Wye Valley for over 57 years. With a regular and varied programme of concerts every year across St Briavels, Monmouth, Chepstow and Ross, we endeavour to bring high-calibre musicians to the area.
 

Upcoming Concerts

Our next concert will be something completely different as we team up with The Scarr Bandstand to present an afternoon of 'Cool Classics' featuring The Bute Wind Quintet and The Devil’s Violinist. Join us for this free outdoor classical music concert at 2.30pm on August 24th at the Scarr Bandstand.

We have further exciting concerts scheduled, including The Salome String Quartet (Monmouth in September), Sofia Sacco (St Briavels in October), Astatine Piano Trio (St Briavels in November) and then rounding out the year with our regular seasonal Christmas choral concert with the Bristol University Singers (Chepstow in December).

Community

Wye Valley Music is committed to bringing live music to the wider community. We work with local primary schools through our Music in Schools programme and people living with dementia through our Music in Mind programme. The next Music Memory Cafe is on Wednesday, 20 August in the St Briavels Assembly Rooms at 10:30 a.m.
