The recital, entitled “Echoes and Reflections”, is an enticing programme of music for the innovative and exciting pairing of violin and classical guitar. Planned originally before the pandemic, it sees the return to Monmouth of two outstanding musicians: Inês Delgado (violin) and Michael Christian Durrant (guitar).
The recital features prominent composers from Latin America and Spain, including Astor Piazzolla, Francisco Tarrága, Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla and Joaquin Rodrigo as well as pieces by Arvo Pärt, Bella Bartok and Leo Brouwer.
