Notice of Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the
St Briavels Music Society (Wye Valley Music),
Registered Charity No 1092645,
will be held as follows:
Sunday 12th October 2025, from 2:00 to 2.45pm
St Briavels Church, St Briavels, Gloucestershire

    1. Apologies for Absence
    2. Minutes of the 2024 AGM held 20th October 2024
    3. Chairman’s Report
    4. Secretary’s Report
    5. Treasurer’s Report and Accounts for the year to 31 July 2025
    6. Election of Officers and Members of the Committee:
Chair: Ian Lewis is standing for re-election
Secretary: Annette Hecht is standing for re-election
Treasurer: David Rees is standing for re-election
Programme Director: Mike Haines is standing for re-election
Committee members: Martin Fenn-Smith and Michael Bradley are resigning from the committee; Corinna Arnold, Alice Hogge, Andy Baker are standing for re-election to the committee; new members William Fulp and Anne Summers are standing for election to the committee.
    7. Appointment of Independent Examiner:
It is proposed that David Shoubridge be re-appointed as Independent Examiner.

    10. Items for Discussion (advance notice required)

The Committee is still actively looking for new members and would be pleased to hear from anyone who would like to join it to help further the aims of the Society. Anyone interested should contact the Secretary by 30th September 2025.

Nominations for items for consideration under “Items for Discussion” need to be made in writing to the Secretary no later than 30th September 2025, using the e-mail address below.

The meeting will be held in the hour prior to the performance of the Sofia Sacco concert at St Briavels church.
